Playson secures license for “crucially important region;” enters Georgian market
Nearing the end of its Easter Cash Days event, online casino software developer Playson has announced that it has secured a license that will allow it to supply its collection of smash hits to players within the Eastern European nation of Georgia.
The Malta-headquartered firm is one of the first providers to have obtained a license in the regulated Georgian market, and is poised to become the “key” supplier of iGaming content to brands that are well-established in the former Soviet republic, including Flutter Entertainment subsidiary, Adjarabet, and Crystalbet, both of which are considered to be the top online sportsbooks and largest online gaming brands in the small country, as well as Betlive, Leaderbet, and Crocobet.
Playson continues to augment its “wildly-lauded” product offering, having recently integrated a broad range of advances such as Reel of Fortune, the latest addition to its retention-enhancing suite of integration-free engagement tools, which already includes Free Spins, Network Jackpots, Feature Trigger, and Network Tournaments.
Key region:
Commenting on the momentous occasion, Chief Executive Officer for Playson, Alex Ivshin used a company press release to say…
“We are delighted to announce our acquisition of a licence to supply games within Georgia, an exciting jurisdiction at the heart of a crucially important region.
“By continuing to build on our highly acclaimed product suite, we are confident that Playson will continue to extend its commercial reach throughout the remainder of 2021 and beyond.”
Entry into Georgia’s regulated market sees Playson’s uninterrupted growth in a region where the developer’s signature fruit-themed games have already proven popular, and where both its Funky Fruits series and Timeless Fruits slots are likely to garner a positive reaction from local players.
Cash Days tournament:
As mentioned, the news comes on the tail end of the most recent edition of the company‘s popular network tournament, Playson Cash Days, which started on April 1 and runs through April 8.
Those participating in the adventure and who place in the top 350 will share in a prize pool worth a whopping €60,000!
